What changes from the first month

Today

  • Excel files copied every Monday
  • Different numbers depending on who prepares them
  • Cash followed on the bank statement
  • Problems found once the month is over

With KAVDAL

  • A dashboard up to date every morning, no data entry
  • One definition for every number
  • A cash forecast, week by week
  • Alerts before the problem costs you

Each tool has its view. Nobody has the big picture.

Your order management, bank, accounting and CRM each tell part of the story. Our dashboards combine their data to give you the numbers you need to steer.

Who it’s for

For people who decide with numbers

  • Business owner

    • You wait for month-end to know whether the month was good.
    • Your numbers change depending on who prepared them.
    • You manage cash by looking at the bank statement.
  • CFO or finance manager

    • Month-end close takes days of reconciliation.
    • Every request from management becomes a new spreadsheet.
    • Cash forecasts live in a fragile workbook.
  • Sales or operations manager

    • The CRM and invoicing tell different stories.
    • You only see delays once customers are unhappy.
    • Tracking targets takes longer than selling.

Example built on fictional data

Engineering firm · 12 employees

Cash tracked 13 weeks ahead

Problem
The owner tracks cash from the bank statement. Shortfalls are discovered when it’s time to pay salaries.
Solution
A dashboard connected to the bank and invoicing, projecting cash 13 weeks ahead and flagging when it drops below a chosen threshold.
Expected result
Shortfalls are visible weeks in advance: time to chase a customer or postpone a purchase.
Cash tracked *13 weeks* ahead
Before After
Cash tracking The bank statement, day to day A 13-week forecast, refreshed every night
Alert None A message when the forecast drops below the threshold
Preparation A spreadsheet rebuilt every month None: the dashboard updates itself

What will be measured

  • Time spent each month preparing the cash review
  • How many weeks ahead a shortfall is seen
  • Number of overdrawn days over the year

Measured by: the owner, over the three months before and the three months after the rollout.

FAQ

Questions about dashboards

Power BI, Looker Studio or Metabase: which one?

It depends on your tools and your licence budget. Power BI suits companies already on Microsoft 365, Looker Studio those living in Google Workspace, Metabase those who want an open-source tool. We compare all three in this article.

Do we need to change our current tools?

No. We start from what you already use. A well-kept Excel file can remain a source.

Our data is messy. Is that a problem?

It’s the most common case. The diagnostic identifies which data is reliable and which needs fixing, before building anything.

Are licences included?

No. Any licences (Power BI Pro, for example) are in your name and paid directly to the vendor. We don’t resell any licence.

Next step

Your dashboard starts with a diagnostic

In 5 business days, we identify what is worth doing, which sources to connect and the exact price. €290, deducted if a project follows.
